INTRANSCENDENTAL DOCTRINE OF ELEMENTS-2
Analytic of Concepts Chapter1
Of the Guide for the Discovery of All Pure Concepts of the Understanding
Transcendental philosophy has the advantage, but also the duty, of seeking its concepts according to a principle. Since they spring, pure and unmixed, from the understanding as an absolute unity, they must be connected with one another according to one concept or idea. Such connection supplies us at the same time with a rule, by which the proper place of each pure concept of the understanding and the completeness of all of them taken together can be determined a priori. |
