目前国内图形学和人工智能哪个方向比较吃香,比较喜欢图形学?

目前大三正在准备考研,在大一大二的时候两个方向都有接触(实现过cpu光栅化渲染器和一个rt渲染器,以及用机器学习训练过几个模型)。现在在考虑报考的院校(说真的考上浙大清华基本没把握),以及以后的方向问题。希望知乎大佬能在这两个方向的院校选择、就业情况给出建议,谢谢!

其实可以兼得啊。用AI解决图形学问题,也是最近的图形学热点之一。SIGGRAPH中,AI相关的文章越来越多。
山东大学图形学在国内还是蛮强的,交叉研究中心(http://irc.cs.sdu.edu.cn/)每年都有不少文章发表在国际顶会。
AI的话,基本国内各个985,211学校都有开展了。毕竟大力发展AI和大数据,也是国家的号召。至于自然语言处理、多媒体处理、计算机视觉等不同方向,就看个人兴趣了。

狭义图形学高校(不包括深度学习、计算机视觉、三维视觉SLAM等)
图形四校:清北浙科
其他零零散散的开设图形研究小组的高校:上科大、山大、港大
图形分渲染、几何、物理(难度依次递增,和深度学习的全体灌水歪风邪气完完全全不搭尬)
搞深度学习99%不需要碰数学,loss function不叫数学,图形学100%需要数学,60%需要物理基础,30%需要材料力学。

我从事图形学十年了,工作过四五个公司,在每个公司都是拿最高的工资,
图形学难度大,进入门槛高,人才少,用处广泛,学好了绝对有前途。

遇到一些图形学bug 没经验让你哭

切记,就算选了 图形 。。。
也不要像我一样 主攻 rendering 。。。
9102年了,rendering 现在主要就剩下 算力和优化问题,你懂得
这个方向现在很不好发论文 这直接关系到毕业和未来找工作

单纯来看,人工智能应该是更吃香的。但是如其他答主所答,其实可以兼得的,图形学也可以用到人工智能的方法。我自己做的方向也是交叉学科,人工智能的方法用在自己的研究领域,这样相对来说更容易发文章一些。
所以自己既然喜欢图形学,那就根据自己的兴趣点,这样才会有动力不断深入研究,才是长远的选择。至于用人工智能的方法,可以看成一种研究自己兴趣的途径,或者硕士蹭一下热度也行,哈哈。
如果做了选择,就要跟进领域前沿,比如CCF 推荐A类会议的文章,或者是Core Ranking A* 的文章:

问题在于,国内就没几个大学有像样的图形学实验室...
浙大没把握的话建议尽早看看业界的机会,例如北极光或者米哈游。

信号处理底子还凑合,自学图形学和AI的强答一下。
CV基本上这一轮已经被玩儿死了,但AI需要研究的问题还很多,可以去做。
图形学就不好说了,可以认为十年前就死了。
打定主意读研就工作的话还是多实习多写代码。

感谢邀请。
我个人建议还是AI,或者AI结合图形,最近可微分渲染也挺火的,这些都要求有深度学习和机器学习等基础。
为什么还是建议AI,国家大力支持下,搞科研好发论文,就业的话,进可算法岗退可开发产品岗,图形学真没前途。
可以看看Boss直聘上面一些招计算机图形学的工作要求,基本上都让你掌握深度学习相关的知识,包括OpenCV,SLAM等,只字不提OpenGL之类的。
很多技术人员自己都分不清视觉和图形的区别,反正私企招你进来干活就完事了,什么都懂一点才叫“人才”嘛。
反正我个人不看好目前图形学在国内的前景。

你那些聪明的学长学姐在吃香的时候就已经把位置吃满了,等你研究生毕业了,也都内卷了,现在各个行业离不开人工智能,图形学作为切入点做点交叉学科的东西挺好
